Don’t sue the queen for Parliament or fire Andrew for Epstein

Don’t sue the queen for Parliament or fire Andrew for the Epstein sex scandal because they are not politicians who you can replace every five years.

But the royal kingdom is in deep trouble right at the tail end of Queen Elizabeth’s reign.

It looks like there are tumultuous times ahead for the UK with its Brexit mess and a royal family in turmoil. = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

This week, one of the women who has accused Jeffrey Epstein of sex crimes issued a startlingly clear appeal to Prince Andrew.

She wants him to “come clean” about his relationship with the disgraced financier.

“He knows exactly what he’s done, and I hope he comes clean about it,” the woman, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, said Tuesday.

Fire Andrew?

Prince Andrew, the 59-year-old second son of Queen Elizabeth II, has faced intensifying scrutiny for his ties to Epstein.

The American billionaire was arrested in New York in July on sex trafficking charges.

Epstein killed himself in an apparent suicide in a Manhattan jail cell this month.

A storm has been mounting in the British news media with the prince at the centre.

But they cannot fire him, he is a prince and you do not fire royals at least just not like that. = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Sue the Queen?

As much as the British cannot fire Andrew, they cannot oppose the Queen’s decision to prorogue the Parliament.

The Queen of England has to follow what the Prime Minister says. If Boris wants prorogation of Parliament, he gets it.

Call it a coup or a dictatorial move if you want, it is Boris Johnson’s call.

The newly minted Premier of England is not here to play the fiddle. He is as disruptive as his alma-mater US President Donald Trump.

They know they cannot lose if they start trouble and this is for the simplest reason. They are the leaders and leaders are not supposed to eat from people’s palms.

If they think the system is broken, which it is, they got to fix it. And this is what Trump and Boris are doing for the US and the UK. = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
