China has finally succumbed to the truth after it acknowledged there is a crackdown against Muslims in Xinjiang.

A massive leak of documents, over 400 pages, by the New York Times shows President Xi involved in the crackdown.

He does not only have knowledge of the situation but ordered official to act with “absolutely no mercy” against separatist Muslims in Xinjiang.

To cover up the crime, the Chinese President mixed the crackdown with the so-called rise of extremism in the province.

But China could not deny it anymore after the NYT leaks.

A Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang on Monday said the Times is turning a blind eye to the facts. He was commenting on the document leak.

“China will never be soft in its fight against violent terrorists,” Geng said at a regular press briefing, in a cover-up of the human rights abuse.

The documents, leaked by an unnamed official, included unpublished speeches by Xi as well as directives on the surveillance.

It also speak of the extreme control of the Uighur minority.

Human rights groups and outside experts say more than one million Uighurs and other mostly Muslim minorities are victims of Xi’s rage.

This is not the first time China has admitted it is carrying out an elimination campaign against Muslims.

It initially denied there were camps where Muslims were getting bullied. Later on, it said the camps existed but were education camps.”China will never be soft in its fight against violent terrorists,” Geng said at a regular press briefing.
