Simplify Vaccine Process For Foreign Workers

Kuala Lumpur: Wanita Keadilan Vice Chief Sangeetha Jayakumar urges the government to simplify the process for the vaccination of foreign workers.

She says when foreign workers from Klang get enrolled for the vaccination they are sent too far away from centres.

They are given PPV Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur and Mines, Seri Kembangan. These locations are approximately 30 to 50km from Klang.

The dilemma also involves illegal foreign workers who do not have valid travel documents such as passports.

“In my view, all PPVs should be open to ALL foreign workers immediately. This is because there are many PPVs that still have vacancies to give appointments to foreign workers.”
