Travel providers are offering all kinds of deals for Valentine’s Day, from discounted fares to Australia (25% off) to two-for-one train tickets on Amtrak. Of course they are promoting love, but they have a simple ulterior motive as well—to sell twice as many tickets, two by two by two like boarding Noah’s Ark.
Air New Zealand says it’s making it easier for couples to explore international destinations with discounted fares to Australia, the Cook Islands and London. Twosome travelers wanting to show Australia some love this year (especially now that most of the fires are thankfully contained) can fly there through eight gateways (via Auckland), including Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Cairns, Adelaide, Perth, and both the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
However, Air New Zealand apparently does not check your relationship status, so you can probably be just friends.
What do you get for being a pair? Air New Zealand is offering 25% off any Business Premier or Premium Economy fares for a party of 2 adults traveling together. Read More.
